Zuzanna Pestka – Susan

Zuzanna has been into nature and ecology since she remembers. Following her greatest passion, she graduated biology (animal ecology) at the University of Gdańsk. As a student, she was a leader of an Ornithological Society and participated in numerous bird ringing camps, nature monitoring and environmental education projects.

Now Zuzanna develops her ecological interests working as a PhD Candidate at the Department of Vertebrate Ecology and Zoology in Gdańsk. Her professional experience includes bird monitoring, environmental assessment, environmental education but also guiding tourists around the old town of Gdańsk.

When she needs to cleanse her mind, she collects wild plants for medicine and food. Besides her passion for nature, she loves cooking healthy, discovering and playing music as well as working out.
