Marta Świtała
Wildlife Guide
Marta is an ornithologist and naturalist, not only by education but also by passion. When she’s not working in the field, she is likely enjoying nature in her free time.
Years ago, she worked as an ornithologist in a National Park. Now, she is a field biologist, monitoring bird populations for various purposes—not only for environmental assessments that help companies minimize their impact on nature but also for scientific research and wildlife conservation projects, including those for the Polish Academy of Sciences.
She has a deep love for nature, especially Poland’s landscapes, with a special fondness for Eastern Poland. Białowieża Forest holds a particularly special place in her heart. Marta also enjoys traveling both within Poland and abroad, especially to Spain, where she once lived. In her free time, she loves reading, savoring good food, and, of course, wildlife watching—all shared with her family, including a black dog named Kornik (which means “bark beetle” in Polish).
