Snowless winter continued. The Bison Safari group 7-10th February experienced the Białowieża Forest at its best with diverse forest habitats, non-forest land and aquatic ecosystems with our passionate nature guide, Bart.
It has been an unusual winter for we had no snow and the temperatures were above zero (Centigrade). It didn't stop a bunch of jolly nature lovers from coming here and joining our Winter Festival. Here is a short trip report.
We started 2020 with a 4-day Bison Safari right at the beginning of January. Ca. 30 Bison were seen by the group of 5 from UK and Israel, while they visited open meadows, forest tracks and clearings hidden deep in the woods. Fresh snowfall added a proper winter charm to their visit at the UNESCO site.
Over 50 Bison, Red Deer stags at close, Beavers and 2 wolves were seen during our Bison Safari in the Białowieża Forest just before Christmas. With a dedicated group of 4 from UK we made the most of short winter days!
Autumn in Poland offers fantastic opportunities for landscape photography. Following last year's success we organised a dedicated departure for photography enthusiasts, who explored the Białowieża Forest and the Biebrza Marshes with our most experienced guide, Andy.

Happy to say that our Carpathian Mammals tour from earlier this month has had a fantastic time with Wolves seen three times, Brown Bear and Bison one evening of a 4-night stay. Congratulations guys!
Safari style Bison patrols combined with daily treks in colourful autumn scenery create a fantastic forest experience. Our group visited the Białowieża Forest at the beginning of October and here is the photo report.
We proudly present a selection of paintings by Lavinia Grant, an artist and author, who participated our Carpathian Wildlife Festival. The scenes were inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of Bieszczady Mountains. We couldn't resist to share, see for yourselves!
