We had an amazing time with a small group of fantastic people out in the wilderness of Eastern Poland. We have seen 12 mammal and over 150 bird species in just 8 days incl. Bison, Wolf, Great Snipe, Aquatic Warbler, Greater Spotted Eagle and a lot more!

Every day we were in the forest at dawn and again in the evening. We even did three night safaris using thermal imaging. In total, we observed 12 mammal species, from the mighty European Bison to the tiny Bank vole. Twice we tracked Wolves, once we were just 30 minutes behind them.

This year's Big Five Mammals Festival in the Białowieża Forest was a great success. We had 25 participants from UK, USA, Germany and Belgium who saw Wolves, Lynx, European Bison, Elk (Moose), Beavers and a lot more!
