Another tour has passed. We had an amazing time with a bunch of fantastic people out in the wilderness of Eastern Poland.
We all keep some very fond memories from the tour. Let’s name a few:
Roaring Red Deer every few hundred meters on starry night with a clearly visible Milky Way belt above our heads will stay long in our memories. Especially that one bull which decided to roar good few hours just next to our guesthose one night ;)
The Bison in big numbers seen on many occasions.
Brief view of a Wolf in thermo-vison plus twice heard howling in the Forest.
Several sightings of Raccoon Dogs.
Beavers seen few times in the Forest and plus fantastic views in Marshes from the boat.
and finally Elk (Moose) young bull very close.
and of course many many birds. In fact over 100 species recorded. Just to name a few: Red-footed Falcons in big numbers, Lesser and Greater-spotted Eagles, White-tailed Eagles, Osprey, Cranes, Black, White-backed and Lesser-spotted Woodpeckers, Pygmy Owl…
Please find below some of the photos taken during the tour!
