Białowieża Forest & Biebrza Marshes, August 2025

Another tour has passed. We had an amazing time with a small group of fantastic people out in the wilderness of Eastern Poland.

We all keep some very fond memories from the tour. Let’s name a few:

The Bison bull (let’s name him Bruce), which came so close that we thought he will take a seat in our van :)

Big male of Wild Boar.

Several sightings of Raccoon Dogs with one young individual very, very close showing really well!

Otter! in the river close to our accommodation.

Stone Marten in the guesthouse garden.

Beavers seen few times in the Forest plus fantastic views in the Marshes from the boat.

and finally few Elks (Moose) very close.

plus many, many birds. Just to name a few: Lesser and Greater-spotted Eagles, White-tailed Eagles, Osprey, Cranes, Black, White-backed and Lesser-spotted Woodpeckers…
