This year’s festival has transformed into a small group private tour. It was also an another huge success but let’s hear it from the participants directly:

Having the privilege to meet so many animals in their natural habitats was already awe-inspiring yet this trip went far beyond observing wildlife. We had the opportunity to learn a lot about the natural and man-made events that shaped this majestic forest and marshes and how they are still evolving. Lukasz (and Ewa) went to great lengths to share their knowledge in an accessible way and to ensure everyone had a great time. Lukasz care and passion are genuinely contagious, no wonder people keep coming back!

Thank you again for such an amazing tour, we’ll be back hopefully sometimes soon.

Best wishes,
Anne-Julie and John

We have spent 4 full days in the Białowieża Forest looking for Bison, tracking Wolves and other mammals and walking through some of the most beautiful and pristine parts of this primeval habitat. We have then transferred to the Biebrza Marshes to follow Elk (Moose) in their winter habitat, look for Beavers as well as go tracking Wolves. Did we succeed?

We have seen Bison every day, individual bulls, small groups and larger herds. We have had an amazing Wolf tracking experience with two different wolf prey found – a freshly killed Red Deer bull and an older Elk – Moose. The tracking conditions were so good that we have followed and seen a pack of 9 Wolves, twice!

There were also numerous woodpeckers like Black or Middle Spotted and birds of prey – Rough-legged buzzards and White-tailed Eagles. Red Fox, Hares, Red and Roe Deer were also an every-day sighting. We have seen several Elk (Moose) very close during both of our 2 days in the Biebrza Marshes, as well as a total of 3 Beavers.

Here are a few photographs below, enjoy!
