Message from the owners of Wild Poland
First of all we hope you are healthy, safe and sound in these difficult times.
We understand that you may have concerns about upcoming travel plans due to coronavirus epidemic development and would like to emphasise that our first priority is always the safety of our customers. We strictly monitor the development of events and follow the advice of Polish Ministry of Health and Chief Sanitary Inspectorate.
Poland is among the least affected countries in Europe. Due to immediate action the rapid development of epidemic was stopped here and after about a month of lockdown our authorities now start easing the restrictions. What is most important to us as nature addicts – State Forests are fully accessible, National Parks start opening this week and there are no limits on recreational travel.
In addition, our borders are announced to open for international travel 3 May 2020 so as soon as other countries release the restrictions, flights start operating and all the hotels open again we are more than ready to host you here. Individual and small group nature & wildlife watching tours in Eastern Poland seem to be the best travel idea for the coming season. In fact, other types of tourism are not so safe and may not even be possible in the near future.
On our guided tours and trips we spend full days outside, walking and watching wildlife in pristine nature. We think that spending several days out in the wilderness here will have an added value of releasing the enormous stress most if not all of us have been under in the recent weeks. Some time ago we started using the phrase relax and recharge in the wilderness at our website – well, now it has an even deeper meaning.
Now the technicals…
Obviously, we had to cancel our tours in March, April and May. We are reviewing the situation constantly and will keep customers due to travel in June and later directly informed of any changes to the trips as they happen and we are optimistic.
If you are concerned about upcoming travel we offer some of the most flexible travel policies in the industry, with transferable deposits and no change fees to move to another holiday. Most of our customers from this spring have rebooked for this autumn and next year. As these tours started filling up, we now take bookings for 2021 already. There are dates published until end of 2021 for all our usual tours, plus, we finally had some time to publish three new itineraries we have been working on in the last years: Grand Tour of Eastern Poland, Canoeing and wild swimming and Butterflies of Eastern Poland – all available in summer 2021. Moreover, we have kept all our prices at 2019 levels and we have even lowered the deposits – you can now guarantee your space for a fraction of the price.
As you know, tourism is now struggling all over the world. Our small company supports several local families directly and a lot more via the guesthouses and other services that we use. You can help us get through this demanding period if you take a moment and book your future holiday now. And if you can’t commit, at least we hope it’s a good read and the photographs are nice:
Best wishes to you and your families in this difficult time. We hope you’re all fine and looking forward to meet you!
If you wish to discuss your travel plans or ideas, please feel free to write or call us, we are working every day and it’s great hearing you.
