More Lynx photographs – breathtaking sighting in the Białowieża Forest

I couldn’t stop myself from posting a few more photographs of the Lynx I saw last week in the Białowieża Forest.

This was the best sighting I’ve ever had. One of my favourite spots, too. It was a quiet evening. At first we heard Roe Deer barking really frightened and I had a feeling there were predators near. I had actually expected Wolves.. until we spotted this Lynx sitting in the tall grasses about 50 m away. We watched it for a few minutes as it slowly walked towards us and stopped. We watched each other for several seconds some 10 metres away and then the Lynx just turned back and slowly walked away.
