Eagles in the Biebrza Marshes

Eager for eagles we’ve had a trip around Biebrza yesterday with Wisent Reisen from Zurich.. With Erik, his wife and lovely daughters we visited Zygmunta Augusta lake, Mscichy, Brzostowo, Burzyn, Bagno Lawki and Goniadz. Results? Seems that Lesser Spotted Eagles have already left.. but we’ve been lucky with others 🙂

Osprey (Fish Eagle) – 1
Marsh Harrier – ca. 10
Common Buzzard – 2
Sparrowhawk – 1f
Cranes – ca. 100
Great White Egret – ca. 10
