Yet another tour has passed. We had an amazing time with a bunch of fantastic people out in the wilderness of Eastern Poland.
Fantastic weather, stunnig Autumn colors and great wildlife sightings!
We all keep some very fond memories from the tour. Let’s name a few:
Wolves! This was my longest ever observation of wolves. We watched 4 of them playing, shaking fur off excess water, chasing each other, resting on meadow for over 20 min! No baiting, just pure nature. Wolves didn’t even notice us :)
The Bison in numbers seen on few occasions.
Sightings of Raccoon Dogs and Badger, Red and Roe Deer, Red Squirell.
Beavers seen in the Forest plus fantastic views in Marshes from the boat.
and finally many Elks (Moose) with 7 in a distance and 2 sightings of 3 individuals very close.
and of course many many birds. Just to name a few: White-tailed Eagle, Crane, Black Woodpecker, Pygmy Owl, Nutcracker…
Please find below some of the photos taken during the tour!
