Snowless winter continued. The Bison Safari group 7-10th February experienced the Białowieża Forest at its best with diverse forest habitats, non-forest land and aquatic ecosystems with our passionate nature guide, Bart.
We started 2020 with a 4-day Bison Safari right at the beginning of January. Ca. 30 Bison were seen by the group of 5 from UK and Israel, while they visited open meadows, forest tracks and clearings hidden deep in the woods. Fresh snowfall added a proper winter charm to their visit at the UNESCO site.
Over 50 Bison, Red Deer stags at close, Beavers and 2 wolves were seen during our Bison Safari in the Białowieża Forest just before Christmas. With a dedicated group of 4 from UK we made the most of short winter days!
Autumn in Poland offers fantastic opportunities for landscape photography. Following last year's success we organised a dedicated departure for photography enthusiasts, who explored the Białowieża Forest and the Biebrza Marshes with our most experienced guide, Andy.
Safari style Bison patrols combined with daily treks in colourful autumn scenery create a fantastic forest experience. Our group visited the Białowieża Forest at the beginning of October and here is the photo report.

Mid-July isn't the easiest time for large mammals, but our guided Bison Safari in the Białowieża Forest was pretty successful with Bison, Red Deer and Roe Deer. Despite the long term heatwave all the flagship species like Elk, Bison, Beavers, Red Deer were seen on this tour. Summer is the best time for butterflies and dragonflies, and our guide Andy made sure to make the most of our group's time out in the field!
